Drive a truck? You probably opt for a Budweiser when hitting the bar with your buddies. Drive a hybrid? It’s likely your taste buds prefer the wheat taste of a Blue Moon. No, I’m not some sort of beer psychic, although, if I was, I could make a killing at the bar. Nope, the credit goes to market researchers Mindset Media who conducted more than 2,600 interviews and uncovered personality traits and mind-sets for six specific beer brands.

So, what does your brewskies preference say about you?

Budweiser drinkers are emotionally steady, practical folks with a spontaneous streak and a fondness for trucks and credit cards with flexible payment terms.

Bud Light fans exhibit frat boy tendencies and are 34 percent more likely to never purchase organic products.

Calorie conscious Michelob Ultra sippers boast strong opinions and an even stronger opinion of themselves.

You’ll quickly recognize Corona drinkers because of their extroverted, life-of-the-party personalities. They also have a softer side and tend to care about others and purchase recycled products.

Heineken fans seem to get the worst rep with researchers categorizing people chugging out of the green bottle as extremely self-assured without a whole lot of modesty. Oh, and the Heinie folks are also more likely to carry an American Express card. Pfft, what snobs.

Blue Moon drinkers harbor socially liberal beliefs and are 77 percent more likely to own a Mac laptop.

Wow, I know people in all the categories that drink all those types of beer. The problem I see is none of them match personality to beer preference. Great idea for a study but perhaps you drank too much of your favorite. Enjoy
